Perello Maize Kernels, 100g

Perello maize kernels are an addictive salty snack. The large corn kernels are fried in small batches and lightly seasoned. They have a nutty, toasted flavour and crunchy texture. 

In Spain, fried maize kernels are known as kikones. You will find them in tapas bars across the country, served as a snack with drinks.

The lightly salted kernels are a delicious alternative to crisps and peanuts. You can enjoy them at home or on the move. Serve them in small bowls with beer or a glass of sangria. Paired with olives and Marcona almonds, they’re sure to be a hit at parties.

You can also add maize kernels to salads and wraps for extra crunch.

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep in an airtight container and consume within seven days.
